Kimi Antonelli backed for George Russell Canadian GP revenge

Kimi Antonelli has been backed by Formula 1 fans to get revenge on George Russell and win the Canadian Grand Prix, according to a ApexF1News poll.

In the poll ahead of the main event at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Antonelli received 33.63% of the vote to secure victory.

A win for Antonelli in Montreal would come just over 24 hours after losing to Russell in a tense battle for Sprint victory, which led to discussions afterwards.

Russell starts from pole with his teenage teammate alongside him, with rain expected to impact the race. As for Russell’s victory chances, 23.75% of voters believe he will win.

Remarkably, Lewis Hamilton, who starts fifth, received the third-most votes, with 14.43% predicting the seven-time world champion will claim another win in Canada.

Interestingly, Lando Norris, who starts third, received the fifth-most votes with 10.32%, behind Max Verstappen on 10.6%.
